- After a long offseason, the 2010 season started and the Yankees began to defend their World Championship. There’s a great deal of history in store this year, but unfortunately it started with a loss to the Red Sox when the pitching let the team down.
- The Yankees are skipping Phil Hughes’ first start and will exercise patience when he struggles.
- The team suffered a rash of minor injuries during the last week of Spring Training, including a sore back for Al Aceves and a cranky shoulder for Damaso Marte. Thankfully everyone finished healthy and the team broke camp with the 25-man roster we all anticipated. For a while it looked like Boone Logan would make the team.
- Chad Moeller was brought back on a minor league deal to upgrade the third catcher situation.
